Our Australian Scam Number List
Scams cost Australians over $630 million. There were more than 353,000 combined reports to Scamwatch, other government agencies and the big four banks last year. We think it would be a good idea to compile a list of numbers that we know are used by active scammers and hopefully have it indexed in Google for everybody to be made aware of. Please share this page if you think it might be useful.

The list is small for now but will likely grow as we receive them.

We want to bring to your attention a fraudulent scheme that’s been circulating recently. Scammers are posing as Microsoft representatives and sending fake virus alerts. One of our customers got scammed from this. They often instruct victims to transfer funds out of their accounts, claiming it’s to protect them from a fictitious hacker. Please stay vigilant and do not engage with these messages. Please be cautious and remember:

    • Microsoft will never ask you to transfer money to secure your account.
    • Always verify the legitimacy of any communication before taking action.
    • If you receive suspicious messages, do not engage and report them to the appropriate authorities.
