Terms and Conditions (Gift Card)

This online document sets out the terms and conditions for the purchasing and redeeming of a Buzz A Geek Pty Ltd Gift Card. 

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. Buzz A Geek Ltd and You, irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts operating in Queensland.

By purchasing a Gift Card you agree to bound by these Terms and Conditions (Gift Card);

The Terms and Conditions (Gift Card) in this document shall supersede and replace all prior Terms And Conditions (Gift Card) versions.


In these Terms and Conditions:

“Gift Card” refers to the Gift Card product available for purchase.

“Terms and Conditions (Gift Card)” means these terms and conditions;

“we”, “us” or “our” means Buzz A Geek Pty Ltd

“Recipient” refers to the Gift Card recipient as specified during the order process.

“you” or “your” means the company/employee/customer/client/or person who has ordered/purchased a Gift Card from Buzz A Geek Pty Ltd.

“Value” refers to the selected dollar value of the Gift Card when it was ordered. 

“Balance” refers to the remaining dollar value a Gift Card has that can be used towards Buzz A Geek Pty Ltd services.

“Booking” refers to the act of reserving an appointment for a Buzz A Geekt Pty Ltd service.

“On-site IT Support” is a single on-site visit (1 Hour of Onsite Support at your home or office) for the purpose of providing onsite computer support services.

“Remote IT Support” refers to a Buzz A Geek technician connecting to a remote computer from their consoles via the Internet and working directly on the remote system for the purposes of IT support services.

“Activation” refers to the act of confirming your self as the legitimate Gift Card owner via the online gift card activation process.

Payment of Gift Cards

  1. You agree to pay the selected Gift Card value during checkout. 
  2. Online payment can be made using VISA or MasterCard.


  1. Gift Cards are only available for delivery within Australia. 
  2. Gift Cards are delivered by registered post to the address specified during the online checkout process.
  3. Gift Card orders require 1-3 business days of processing time before they are shipped.
  4. Gift Cards will take 5-10 business days to ship.
  5. We do not accept responsibility for orders which don’t arrive within the specified delivery times.
  6. We are not responsible for lost or misdirected Gift Cards, including where an incorrect address or email address has been provided to us.
  7. The recipient specified during checkout will be presumed to be the authorised owner to receive the Gift Card on your behalf. We do not accept liability for any unauthorised acceptance and any consequential unauthorised redemption of a Gift Card.
  8. Each plastic Gift Card sent to a different postal address attracts a separate Delivery Fee which cannot be bundled together.


  1. If you are giving the Gift Card to another person, it is your responsibility to make them aware of the Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

Returns and Refunds

  1. Gift Cards cannot be refunded or returned. 
  2. We are not responsible for and unable to replace Gift Cards that are lost or stolen
  3. Delivery fees are non-refundable.

Redeeming a Gift Card

  1. Gift Cards must be Activated before their balance can be used. 
  2. Once activated, the Gift Card balance’s can be redeemed by booking Remote IT Support or On-site IT Support services with Buzz A Geek.
  3. Only the assigned recipient of the Gift Card is authorised to use the Gift Card balance towards a booking.
  4. Credit card or debit card details are required to make a booking that uses a Gift Card. Once the service has concluded, the balance of the Gift Card will be used towards the billable amount. Any outstanding billable amounts after the Gift Card balance is absorbed will be charged to the card that was provided when creating the booking. 
  5. Gift Cards can be used for multiple bookings, as long as it has a balance remaining. 
  6. Gift Cards can not be exchanged for cash.
  7. Gift Cards expire 3 years from the purchase date. Any remaining balance on the card will be forfeited on the expiry date.
  8. If the Gift Card recipient is in a location where we are unable to provide On-site IT Support, they will be limited to Remote IT Support services to redeem their Gift Card balance. 
  9. When engaging with Remote IT Support and On-site IT support you agree to the General Terms and Conditions.
  10. Remote IT Support and On-site IT Support service fees are subject to change without notice. 


Buzz A Geek Pty Ltd will not be responsible for the unauthorised acceptance and any unauthorised redemption of a Gift Card by any person.

We reserve the right to alter our product offering and terms and conditions related to the purchase and use of our products and/or sevices.
