Buzz A Geek is expanding as a preferred IT solutions provider for small to medium-sized businesses across the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a Junior I.T. Technician to join our hard-working team.
This role is perfect for someone with a positive attitude, a hunger to learn, and a strong technical focus. You’ll navigate IT security landscapes, provide onsite support, and assist in other IT functions as required.
— Provide technical support across software, hardware, and network systems
— Deliver onsite IT support for Sunshine Coast customers
— Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues using your knowledge, experience, and judgment
— Build rapport with clients to maximise satisfaction
— Provide follow-up support when needed
— Assist the call centre during high volume periods, including scheduling technicians and following up on customer requests
— Networking experience with CISCO or other enterprise certification
— Microsoft Certified Cloud or On-Premise (MCSE) up-to-date
— IT support experience for hardware and operating systems (PC, Mac, iOS, Android) in home and office environments
— Demonstrated cybersecurity skills, including configuring and running phishing campaigns
— Detailed Windows and Mac PC build and troubleshooting knowledge
— Experience with Office 365 and Azure Cloud services
— Ability to work with VOIP systems
— Excellent oral and written communication skills
— Strong analytical and organisational skills
— Ability to deliver superior customer service
— Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable, well-maintained vehicle
— Hands-on Linux experience
— Web development skills, including WordPress
— Sales experience desirable
